A well - functioning library is an essential condition of the proper, scientific development of a university. The number of books in the Main Library of the University School and the department libraries amounts to approx. 125 000 volumes of different publications on physical education, sports, motor rehabilitation, tourism, recreation as well as on humanities, science and sociology. The library catalogues are the main sources of information about the collection of books. In the nearest future the librarians intend to open a computer catalogue of the publications gathered in the Library. The on-line catalogue can be consulted at the website of the Main Library.
Everyone interested in the issues of physical education can use the Library book collection in the reading room which is open:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 - 20:00
- Saturdays 12:00 - 18:00
In the reading room the readers have the access to the following computer databases:
- SPORT - informs about the contents of Polish magazines covering the issue of
sports, physical culture and related sciences. The Internet address:
